We aim to engage young artists of professional potential and provide them a forum and an opportunity to refine their craft by performing with more experienced singers and conductors. We welcome artists with all ranges of performance experience.
Auditions
for
the

production

Delibes'
Lakme
and
the
2010
production
of
Balfe's
The
Bohemian
Girl
will
be
held
in
Center
City
Philadelphia
on
Sunday,
June
8
and
Monday,
June,
9,
2008.
Interested
professional
and
emerging
artists
should
submit
photo
and
resume

Please
prepare
two
arias,
one
in
French
and
one
in
English.
Panel
may
ask
to
hear
an
additional
piece
in
Italian.
Accompanist
is
provided.
There
is
an
audition
fee
of
$10
check
or
cash.
Appointments
will
be
assigned
by
e-mail
and
require
an
RSVP.
Please
be
sure
to

your

Both
productions
of 3
performances
in
Center
City
Philadelphia
and
on
the
Main
Line,
scheduled
for
March
of
each
year.
Artists
must
be
able
to
commute
to
rehearsals
mainly
in
Philadelphia
and
on a
bi-weekly/weekly
basis.
Most
rehearsals
take
place
on
Monday
and/or
Friday
evenings.
Exceptions
are
Saturday
dress
rehearsal/venue
rehearsal
and
one
Sunday
in
late
February.
