Since 1995, COPA has provided a venue for rising professional singers to gain experience and to be heard in a professional setting. Our singers, who are selected by competitive audition, are committed to the profession and art of classical singing.  Alumni of COPA have gone on to leading roles in major opera companies.  We take pride in their accomplishments, and we hope that every COPA singer will become so famous that we will never be able to hire then back!  But that will be our reward.  So, how do you, the audience, benefit from this?  Your reward will be the opportunity to hear the singers of tomorrow at the beginning of their careers.  You will hear them in well prepared productions of major operatic works, you will "hear them when."  We believe with all our hearts in the future of music and the future of singing.  So come, join us.  Join those who believe in the nobility of the spirit.  Help us demonstrate that angels sing, and the rewards that come back to you will be tenfold.
